The BTL is designed to keep you safe in a number of ways. One is the clip will withstand 400 pounds of pull force from your lunging dog but snap from hard impacts with fixed objects rather than injure you or your dog. So if you rode too close to a sign post or fire hydrant this kit provides the parts and instructions you need. All you will need is rubbing alcohol and strong hands. This kit also replaces the blue or yellow cord cover if it has been chewed up.
